Ancillary Product Manager
Job description
We are looking for a person to assume responsibility for account management of SkyEurope Airlines' ancillary product partners (who provide services such as hotels, car rentals, catering, insurance, airport lounches, inflight magazine, etc.). This person is a Team Leader of Product Team consisting of two people; the whole team belongs to Marketing department. Ancillary revenue is secondary revenue for an airline right after flight ticket revenue and creates crucial part when reaching overall company's commercial targets. Product Manager will be responsible for Ancillary product team driving ancillary revenue, account management of ancillary partners, negotiation of commercial terms, and regular cost analysis & revenue reports.
She/He will directly report to the Head of Marketing & Products and will be part of our Marketing department.
Main responsibilities are:
- Account Management of SkyEurope‘s ancillary product partners (who provides services such as hotels, car rentals, catering, insurance, airport lounches, inflight magazine, etc.)
- Team Leader of Product Team (2 people) that belongs to Marketing Team
- Responsible for negotiation and/or fulfillment of commercial terms
- Preparation of regular monthly cost analysis & revenue reports
- Driving ancillary revenue and reaching ancillary revenue targets
- Competition monitoring and comparison of commercial terms
- Budget & revenue planning
- Occasional foreign travel required
- Responsible for of all ancillary admin activities such as price offers, purchase orders, incoming invoice checking, accruals, outgoing invoicing of ancillary commissions within product team
- Cooperation and communication with other commercial teams, finance and crew departments
Required education
Specialisation, field: Business, Economics, or Marketing related
Education attained: University student, Secondary with leaving examination, University education (Bachelor's degree), University education (Master's degree)
Skills
Language skills: English - advanced (fluent in written and vebal is a must), German or French - advantage
Computer skills - user: Microsoft Excel - advanced, Microsof Word - advanced, Microsoft PowerPoint - advanced, Microsoft Outlook - advanced, Microsoft Access - basic

- Proven experience with account and project management
- Highly skilled negotiator, excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Business thinking and organizational skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills

- Structured person with focus on detail, strong responsibility focus and flexible approach to work
- Enthusiastic person with the motivation to succeed in a young, progressive airline
- Self motivated with ability to work with low supervision
