Senior Revenue Management & Pricing Analyst
Description
The Senior Revenue Management and Pricing Analyst is responsible for maximizing revenue on a set of routes / markets. The analyst manages pricing and seat inventory availability in order to sell the right seat at the right time for the right price. This position requires a strong attention to detail with a focus on demand trends and analysis of market and competitor developments. The analyst leads the agenda on his/her routes by utilizing market expertise and knowledge to identify revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize revenue for adesignated group of flights through the control of seat availability via our revenue management system
- Identify holidays, special events and seasonal peaks in order to protect seat inventory
- Monitor competitor pricing and availability
- Recommend pricing adjustments necessitated by competitor positioning or shifting demand
- Develop a strong understanding of designated routes
- Utilize reporting tools to study historical data and forward bookings to spot trends, and build strategies to improve / maximize revenue accordingly
- Develop and maintain market and flight-level forecasts
- Recommend opportunities to optimize contribution via schedule or capacity changes
- Identify if, where and when marketing should focus promotional / advertizing efforts
- Provide price quotes for groups / block seat deals within team guidelines
- Participate in strategy discussions and drive the agenda for designated routes
This role requires close interaction with the Revenue Management, Marketing, Sales, Network Planning and Groups teams. The analyst also needs to undertake the rotational role of On-call Analyst, which occasionally requires work outside normal business hours.
This position reports directly to the Head of Revenue Management.

Requirements
- Educated at university level with adegree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Marketing or similar discipline
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint and presentation skills
- 1-2 years experience in airline revenue management
Pluses / Preferences
- Knowledge of airline reservations system, paricularly Navitaire
- Revenue management system, GDS or ATPCO experience
- Low-cost airline experience
